Salt Collective LLC (“Salt Collective,” “we,” “us”) runs meetsaltcollective.com. This policy explains what information we collect through the site, what we do with it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to send us through the forms on this site:

• Contact form: your name, email address, business name, website, what you’d like help with, and your message.
• Salty Website Rater: your first name, email address, and the website you’d like scored.
• VIP list: your email address.

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. That information is used to keep the site running and secure.

What we don’t collect

This site doesn’t use cookies, analytics tools, advertising trackers, or social media pixels. Our fonts and video are served from our own site, so loading a page doesn’t send your information to a font or video service.

How we use your information

• To reply to your message and talk with you about working together.
• To review the website you send to the Salty Website Rater and email you its score.
• To send you notes from the Salt team if you join the VIP list.
• To keep a record of the conversations we’ve had with you.

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Who helps us handle it

When you send a form, it goes to a secure form service that saves it in a private database and notifies our team by email. We rely on a few trusted providers to do that, and they handle your information only on our behalf:

• Render, which hosts this website and our form service.
• Smartsheet, where we keep track of inquiries.
• Microsoft 365, which delivers our notification emails.

We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of Salt Collective and the people we work with.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as we need it to work with you and keep our business records, and then we delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you the information we have about you, correct it, or delete it. You can also leave the VIP list whenever you like. Just email us at hello@meetsaltcollective.com and we’ll take care of it.

Children

This site is meant for business owners and isn’t directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.

Keeping it safe

Information you send through this site travels over an encrypted connection, and access to it is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
